Frequently asked questions from families

In the daily routine schedule what are all of the things that would be included?
Drop offs, free play, using toilet/washing hands, morning snack time, circle time, free play, planned activities like writing and reading, and pickup.
How long is typically spent outdoors? Is there any screen time?
As long as the temperature is not below -15C the children will be outside daily. This can vary from 15 minutes to an hour depending on program structure and temperature. Screen time is limited to music videos for dance parties, guided yoga sessions or educational videos related to programing for that week. It typically does not exceed 10-15 minutes in a day.
Do they offer any food or snack? In that case what is the menu?
Providing snacks is dependent upon the preschool. If snacks are provided menus are posted and available for families to see.
If a child has an allergy are there substitutions?
Substitute foods would need to be provided by the family to ensure there are no allergic reactions.
